Naturopathic medicine is a complete system of primary healthcare, suitable for treating any illness or disease. It is safer than the system of medicine most North Americans are now familiar with and may be used on its own or in conjunction with other treatments.
Naturopathic medicine acknowledges the complex interrelationships of body, mind and spirit and is based on the following principles:
* Each of us is physiologically unique
* Nature can provide everything we need to enjoy good health at every stage of life
* Illness is a warning sign
* True healing addresses the underlying cause of the problem, rather than just its symptoms
* The doctor’s role is to heal and to empower individuals to manage their own physical and emotional well-being
The perfect gift for any occasion
